The Challenge


California Cruisin was concerned with the high level of advertising they were expending to attract new customers and their low position in the search engines. They also felt their old web site didn't properly showcase their sailboat and power boat charter fleet.  Charter inquiries were minimal from the web site and Pay-Per-Click campaigns were expensive with no return on investment.

The Work


The company now ranks No 1 for San Diego Yacht Charters on Google. Acorn Interactive redesigned their site and and created a charter fleet database to show off their charter yachtshowcase. The new site organized the boats into categories for power and sail fleets, described charter terms, boat amenities, and used creative imagery to showcase the beauty of San Diego Bay and the fun of chartering yachts.  Organic Search Engine optimization strategies propelled California Cruisin's charter fleet, wedding services, and burials at sea to the first page of Google and other search engines. This has resulted in more inquiries coming from the site and more charters being booked, even in a difficult economy.
